Richard Petty was the winner of the race, officially becoming a millionaire. Bobby Allison, Benny Parsons, Charlie Glotzbach, Friday Hassler, Donnie Allison, Ron Keselowski, Frank Warren, James Hylton, and Bill Champion were the other top ten finishers.
